The founder and general overseer of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations, Prophet Tb Joshua has linked the collapse of one of the church buildings to a strange aircraft.

According to the Pastor, the uncompleted guest house collapsed after the strange aircraft hovered around the building a number of times.

Briefing journalists, including a PREMIUM TIMES reporter, on the incident on Saturday, the pastor played a CCTV footage of a flying aircraft to back his claim. In the footage, a plane was seen flying over the guest house at four different times on Friday morning - 11:30 a.m; 11:43a.m; 11:45 a.m and 11:54 a.m. The building collapsed at about 1 p.m on Friday afternoon.

It remains unclear whether there is indeed a relationship between the strange aircraft and the collapse of the building, but Pastor Joshua insisted that it was responsible for the collapse of the SCOAN building, saying that he was the target of the attack.

"Immediately I left the prayer room (which is a 10 minute drive from the church) for the church, I got a call that a jet was hovering over the prayer room but as I finished bathing and moved to the prayer room, I got another call that the jet has moved to the church and that was it", Pastor Joshua said.

"Members can not be the target. The easier way to stop this church is to get the head and from my explanation, you know the truth", he added.

The prophet also apologized to the journalists for the hostile treatment by his members.

Authorities of the National Emergency Management Association, NEMA, said 17 people died in the incident while 123 others were rescued alive.

An official said rescue operations might last till Tuesday. It was reported that some of the guests were having lunch on the ground floor when the building collapsed, and, by reason of the fact that the pillars of the ground floor were strong, they were only trapped inside the building for over 24 hours and were not crushed. Rescue teams had to bore holes in different parts of the building to rescue the victims trapped in the debris.

One of the survivors of the incident, a woman, after being pulled out of the rubble shouted "Thank You Jesus. The God of Tb Joshua is alive, I can go back to South Africa alive".

Another survivor, a male was seen clapping happily while he was being carried on a stretcher.
