The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, has come to the defence of Ayo Oritsejafor, president of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, concerning the criticisms and allegations of his involvement in the $9.3M botched deal which involved the use of his jet.

Recently, a jet from Nigeria containing millions of dollars was reportedly seized in South Africa and two Nigerians with an Israeli arrested on the grounds of illegally transporting such amount of money into the country without declaring it. It was also reported that the jet was owned by CAN president Pastor Oritsejafor, an issue which sparked criticism and condemnations around the country of Nigeria and even beyond.
